Lasota and Scane Earn Big Ten Athlete of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. – Senior Selena Lasota and first-year Izzy Scane have earned their second and third Big Ten weekly honors of the season.
Over the weekend, Lasota tallied 12 goals between two games to earn her seventh career Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award. Lasota also added one assist and one ground ball against Penn and Penn State. With her impressive performance over the weekend, Lasota becomes the fourth player in Northwestern history to reach 300 career points.
Scane earns her third consecutive Freshman of the Week award after contributing eight goals, five assists, two ground balls, seven draw control and two caused turnovers to the 'Cats impressive duo of wins.
The Wildcats will be back on the field on Saturday to take on Johns Hopkins at Homewood Field at 10 am ET. This weekend's game will also be broadcasted on ESPNU.
