Scane Earns Second Big Ten Freshman of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. – After contributing to Northwestern's 20-goal victory over Marquette, first-year Izzy Scane has earned her second consecutive Big Ten Freshman of the Week award.
Scane led the Wildcats with a game-high five goals, for her sixth consecutive multi-goal game. Against the Golden Eagles, the Michigan native also picked up five draw controls, one ground ball and dished out one assist.
The first-year is currently leading the national in shot percentage with .750 pct. on 21 goals. Scane is also ranked No. 9 in the Big Ten for goals per game and fifth in draw controls.
Scane and the 'Cats will back on the field this Thursday at 7 pm to take on Penn State in their Martin Stadium season debut.
