Northwestern Set to Face No. 12 Iowa in Regular Season Finale

EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern (16-12, 9-8 Big Ten) will conclude its regular season in Iowa City to take on the No. 12 Iowa Hawkeyes, Sunday, Mar. 3 on Big Ten Network. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m.
The Wildcats are coming off a 69-49 victory over the Indiana Hoosiers in Welsh-Ryan Arena. Lindsey Pulliam and Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah led the way for the 'Cats in the final home game of the regular season. Pulliam extended her double-digit scoring streak to 27 games in her 24 point performance over the Hoosiers. The sophomore's 16.5 points per game is the fourth highest average in the Big Ten and now holds the fifth longest double-digit scoring streak in Northwestern history.
Kunaiyi-Akpanah recorded her 16th double-double of the season in her senior night with 11 points and 11 boards to go along with three assists and a team high six steals.
The No. 12 Hawkeyes are undefeated at home in their 2018-19 campaign and are second in the Big Ten with a 13-4 conference record.
Sunday's matchup will mark the seventh ranked opponent the Wildcats have faced this season and the first meeting between the two teams since the second round of the 2018 Big Ten Tournament.
