EVANSTON, Ill. – The No. 2 ranked Midwest Fencing Conference champions Northwestern women's fencing team continues to bring home the hardware as 22 fencers earned All-MFC honors, the conference announced on Thursday.

Six Wildcats earned First Team honors, nine earned Second Team honors, and seven were named Honorable Mentions. NU's 22 honorees were by far the most in the conference, with Ohio State ranking second with 11.

Pauline Hamilton, alongside first-years Maggie Snider and Natalie Kim, earned First Team honors for epée. Yvonne Chart and Sarah Filby received First Team honors for foil, and Alexis Browne earned First Team recognition for saber.

Hamilton earned her third straight All-MFC selection by taking home the silver medal after reaching the women's epée finals. Filby earned her second All-MFC First Team recognition in as many seasons after reaching the semifinals at the MFC Championships. Chart and Browne also made it to the semifinals at the MFC Championships, taking home bronze medals for foil and saber.

Snider and Kim both earned their first career All-MFC recognitions by reaching the women's epée semifinals, capping off a terrific season for Northwestern's first-years. In total, seven NU first-years earned All-MFC honors.

Marta Amador Molina, alongside first-years Julia Falinska and Emma Scala, took home All-MFC Second Team honors for epée. The selection marked the second straight All-MFC recognition for Amador, who made All-MFC First Team last season. Falinska and Scala finished fifth and seventh, respectively, to earn their selections.

In foil, the trio of Amy Jia, Alyssa Chen, and Justine Banbury earned Second Team honors after finishing fifth, sixth, and eighth, respectively. The selections marked the second straight for Banbury, who made All-MFC First Team last season, and Jia, who made All-MFC Second Team last year. Jia also earned All-MFC Honorable Mention recognition as a first-year.
