After an illustrious four-year lacrosse career at Loyola Md., Pat Spencer transferred to Northwestern to pursue a graduate degree. Spencer completed his undergraduate degree in four years and did not redshirt; he retained ability to play one year in a different sport. At Loyola, he became the first player in program history to earn the prestigious Tewaaraton Award - given to the nation's top player.
