Steigleder and Thron Earn All-Big Ten Honors

EVANSTON, Ill. – Junior Regan Steigleder and sophomore Julietta Thron were both named to the All-Big Ten Third Team as announced by the conference on Thursday afternoon.
The two were veteran anchors on a young team and led all outfield players in minutes, with 1690 for Steigleder and 1639 for Thron.
Steigleder contributed in the midfield and the backline while leading the team in offensive statistics with two goals, one assist, 31 shots and 14 on goal.
Thron started every game in the backline and moved into the center back position halfway through the season. She notched one assist throughout the campaign.
Both Steigleder and Thron were named to the Presesason All-Big Ten team in August. Steigleder was a member of the Big Ten All-Freshman Team after her rookie season in 2017.
