Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah Posts Double-Double in ACC/B1G Challenge

Pallas Kunaiyi-Akpanah shined the brightest for Northwestern women's basketball during the ACC/B1G Challenge against Pitt, adding another double-double to her resume, making it her fifth for the season.
The senior captain finished with 16 points and 10 boards as well as going 10-11 from the charity stripe, a career high.
Lindsey Pulliam and Kunaiyi-Akpanah were the only two Wildcats to finish with double-digit points. Pulliam finished with 10, marking her fifth straight double-digit performance this season.
Sydney Wood finished with a career-high three assists tonight. She also contributed six points to the offense, making three out of four shots from the line and Jess Sancataldo made two three-point shots in the fourth to tighten up the match for Northwestern but the 'Cats fell short 52-49.
Defensively, Northwestern forced 18 opponent turnovers and grabbed 40 rebounds.
Chicago's Big Ten Team will be back on the court Wednesday as they make the short trip to No. 15 DePaul. Tip off is scheduled for 7 p.m. in this non-conference matchup.
