Wildcats Conclude Action at Duke Bonk Invite

DURHAM, N.C. -- Northwestern's contingent wrapped up competition at the Duke Bonk Invite on Sunday.

One final round of singles action was held with Maddie Lipp posting a 6-2, 6-2 win over Victoria Emma of Florida to earn a third-place finish in her draw.

Erin Larner played for the championship of her draw but was edged by the narrowest of margins, falling 6-7 (3), 7-5, 7-6 (7) in a nail-biter against Adriana Reami of NC State.

Northwestern returns to action during its fall season September 29 through October 1 when it hosts the Wildcat Invite.
