2017 Run For Walk Recap

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Runners and walkers gathered on a pristine morning Sunday (July 30) to participate in the sixth-annual Run For Walk, a 4.1-mile run and 5K walk honoring late Northwestern head football coach Randy Walker.
Racers were treated to picture-perfect conditions along the picturesque route which took runners through the Northwestern University campus and along the gorgeous shores of Lake Michigan.
John Craig was the top male finisher in the 4.1-mile run, finishing in a time of 21:40. The top female finisher was Gabrielle Hesslau as she crossed the finish line in 24:29.
Following the run/walk, younger participants took in part in their own races on the same Ryan Field turf that the Wildcats will be competing on beginning in just over a month.
