2017 Schedule, Season Tickets, Promotions Released

EVANSTON, Ill. —
Northwestern men's soccer has released its 2017 schedule, which features eight contests against 2016 NCAA tournament teams and eight home matches at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium. 

Fans can purchase season tickets for the Wildcats' fall sports by calling the Northwestern ticket office at 888-GO-PURPLE or by visiting NUsports.com.

Adult season tickets are available for $49 while youth can get theirs for just $29. The Northwestern family plan admits two adults and three youth for $99. Single-game tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for youth and $3 for groups of 15 or more.
 
The 2017 campaign officially kicks off on Friday, Aug. 25, when Northwestern hosts Valparaiso at Martin Stadium for a 7 p.m. CT start. The game will be 'Back to School' night at Martin Stadium with the first 100 kids, eighth-grade-or-younger, receiving a Northwestern school-supply pack.
 
The Wildcats then head out on a three-game road swing to face UMKC (Aug. 27), Colgate (Sept. 1) and Syracuse (Sept. 3), before returning home to open Big Ten Conference play.
 
Northwestern welcomes Ohio State to Evanston on Friday, Sept. 8 for Heroes Day at Martin Stadium. All military personnel, first responders, and their families receive $3 tickets to the game. Fans can join the 'Cats on the field pregame for the National Anthem and starting lineups, RSVP by emailing wildcatmarketing@northwestern.edu.
 
Following a road game at Wisconsin on Sept. 13, the Wildcats return home to battle league-foe Indiana on Sunday, Sept. 17 at 3:30 p.m. CT. All fans who show their ticket stub from the Northwestern vs. Bowling Green football game on Saturday, Sept. 16, will receive $3 tickets to the game.
 
The 2017 campaign features a pair of doubleheaders at Martin Stadium. Northwestern takes on Rutgers (Oct. 15) at noon, ahead of a Northwestern women's soccer match at 3:30 p.m. On Friday, Oct. 20, the men will battle Michigan State on Senior Day at 7:30 p.m., after the women play Nebraska at 5 p.m. One ticket is good for both matches on both of those dates.
 
Once again Chicago's Big Ten Team has scheduled all three Chicagoland Division I opponents. The Wildcats host UIC (Sept. 20) and Loyola (Oct. 24) in Evanston and are slated to make the short trip to DePaul on Oct. 11. The Sept. 20 match versus UIC is 'Hispanic Heritage Night' at Martin Stadium, while 'Fan Appreciation Day' is set for the Oct. 24 contest against Loyola.
 
Northwestern's 'Youth Day' is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., when Western Illinois visits Martin Stadium. All students in the greater Chicagoland area and their families receive $3 tickets to the game, if they are off for Columbus Day.
 
Lenahan and the Wildcats make their second three-game road swing of the campaign when they travel to take on Michigan (Sept. 24), Maryland (Sept. 29) and Notre Dame (Oct. 3).
 
A contest with Penn State in University Park, Penn., on Oct. 29 will wrap up the 2017 regular season.
 
The Wildcats play three exhibition games, including a home match against Eastern Illinois on Saturday, Aug. 12, before heading out to Bradley (Aug. 15) and SIU-Edwardsville (Aug. 18) to wrap up the preseason. All fans are encouraged to come out to the home exhibition game on Aug. 12, to get their first glimpse of the 2017 'Cats and pick up this season's schedule poster.
