Komoto Tees Off Professional Career Friday In South Bend

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Senior Kacie Komoto will celebrate her final weekend before graduation from Northwestern University with her first professional golf appearance, at the Symetra Tour's 'Four Winds Invitational', hosted for the sixth consecutive year at Blackthorn Golf Club.

Komoto is scheduled to tee off Friday's first round at 2:30 p.m. CT, paired with Jenny Lee and Sandra Angulo Minarro.. The Honolulu native just wrapped up a sparkling four year Wildcats career by helping lead the program to a runner-up finish at the 2017 NCAA Women's Golf Championships at Rich Harvest Farms. The three-time All-Big Ten honoree, and three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree, was recently recognized as Northwestern's female recipient of the 2017 Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.

Komoto will be joined at the event by another #B1GCats alum, Kaitlin Park.
