Claire Quinn Named IWLCA Third-Team All-American

EVANSTON, Ill. — Sophomore defender Claire Quinn has been named a Third-Team All-American by the Intercollegiate Lacrosse Women's Coaches Association. 

Quinn was one of the best defenders in the country in her second season with the Wildcats, leading the Big Ten in caused turnovers per game and setting the fifth-best mark in program history with 36 total. She finished the season ranked 41st nationally with 1.84 caused turnovers per contest. Her six caused turnovers versus Johns Hopkins March 30 tied the second-best single-game mark in NU history and she finished the season with 11 games with at least two caused turnovers. 

A Manhassett, New York, native, Quinn scored a career-high four goals in the Wildcats' NCAA first-round victory over Albany. She finished the season with eight goals, the most of any defender on the team.
