Northwestern Closes Regular Season With Duke Duals

EVANSTON, Ill. -- No. 9 Northwestern travels to Durham, N.C. on Saturday for the Duke Duals to wrap up the regular season.
The first bout is scheduled for Saturday at 7 a.m. The 'Cats will face off against North Carolina, Air Force, Boston College, MIT and Duke in that order.
The Wildcats are 30-12 and looking to build momentum heading into the postseason, with the Midwest Fencing Conference Championships taking place at the end of the month.
Northwestern is coming off a strong showing at the NU Duals last weekend, where they picked up six wins, including a victory over No. 4 Ohio State. Senior Cindy Oh posted an impressive 14-4 two-day record in sabre.
The Wildcats met UNC at the NU Duals on Sunday and came away with a resounding 18-9 win. Ella Lombard, Maddy Curzon and Oh all went 3-0.
Northwestern defeated Air Force at the Western Invitational in January, 16-11. Pauline Hamilton and Mandeep Bhinder both went 3-0 in epee.
Last year at the NU Duals, the 'Cats bested Duke 20-7. The Blue Devils are currently receiving 45 votes in this year's collegefencing360.com coaches' poll.
