EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern concludes non-conference play Friday with a visit from Eastern Illinois. Tip is set for 4 p.m. at historic Beardsley Gym.
The Wildcats then have a few days off for winter break before hosting Minnesota to start Big Ten play Dec. 28 at 7 p.m.
Northwestern (6-7) is coming off a near-upset of No. 21 Green Bay during Field Trip Day Tuesday at Allstate Arena. The 'Cats are 3-2 at Beardsley Gym this season.

Chicago's Big Ten Team is 11-0 all-time against Eastern Illinois. The teams have met just once in the Joe McKeown era, a 92-44 Wildcats' win on Dec. 20, 2014, in Tempe, Arizona.
First-year guard Lindsey Pulliam (14.7) and sophomore forward Abi Scheid (13.0) average double figures in points per game for Northwestern. Pulliam leads all Big Ten newcomers in that category, while Scheid has scored double digits in every game but two this season.
