Three Doubles Teams Advance at ITA Midwest Regionals

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Northwestern advanced all three of its doubles teams to the round of 16 at the ITA Midwest Regionals hosted by the University of Michigan on Friday.
Each of NU's three teams received an opening-round by before posting a victory to advance.
The fourth-seeded team of Erin Larner and Maddie Lipp posted an 8-2 victory over the Eastern Michigan duo of Marie Mayerova and Andrea Martinovska. Lee Or and Alex Chatt are a 5-8 seed and they advanced with an 8-3 victory over Cleveland State's Isabella Spindler and Aleksandra Golawska. Inci Ogut and Rheeya Doshi, a 9-16 seed, also moved on with an 8-5 win over Cleveland State's Gaby Schoenberg and Jana Schober.
Action continues Saturday with one round of doubles and the opening two rounds of singles.
