Saturday's second round was derailed by a rain delay just before Northwestern was scheduled to tee off shortly after 10 a.m. outside Nashville. The Wildcats ultimately took to the course at 1 p.m. and battled through difficult conditions all afternoon en route to a second round 296 that put them in second place after 36 holes.

Kim managed the wet terrain well early, playing her first nine at even par, but rocketed out of the turn with birdies on the Par-4 Nos. 10 & 11 and the Par-5 No. 12. She is one of just ten players in the field under par after two days of competition in Tennessee.

The Wildcats will tee off Sunday's third round beginning at 9:40 a.m., led by Janet Mao, followed by Sarah Cho, Kacie Komoto, Stephanie Lau and Kim in 10-minute increments on the first tee.

Northwestern – 2/16 • 284-296-R3=580 (+4)
T6 – Hannah Kim -- 71-70-R3=141 (-3)
T16 – Stephanie Lau -- 72-74-R3=146 (+2)
T26 – Kacie Komoto – 73-75-R3=148 (+4)

The Wildcats are joined on the leaderboard this weekend by the host Commodores, No. 3 Alabama, Auburn, Baylor, Chattanooga, Houston, Michigan State, Middle Tennessee, SMU, Troy, Tulane, UCF, and No. 14 Virginia.

Last year's 15th Annual Mason Rudolph Championship was a coming out party for Lau and a record-setting performance for Northwestern.

The Fullerton, California, native opened and closed the event with 4-under 68's on her way to a 206, the lowest 54-hole score in Wildcats history (since broken), and a Top-3 finish. Paced by the rookie, Northwestern placed four golfers inside the Top-17 and carded a 15-under 849, the lowest 54-hole team result in program history (since broken).
