EVANSTON, Ill. — Northwestern will open Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium on Tuesday when it plays its first home game of the 2016 season against Marquette at 3 p.m.
The Wildcats (1-3) played their first four games of the season on the road against ranked ACC foes, but will play their next four games at the new Martin Stadium on the coast of Lake Michigan.
Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium features a new play surface, bleachers, scoreboard and audio system. Construction is ongoing so fans are encouraged to park in the surface lots north and west of the field starting at 1:30 p.m. Parking in those two lots is limited and additional parking is available in the Henry Crown Sports Pavillion parking garage for $8.
When fans arrive to the venue, they should enter the stadium at the northeast corner near the scoreboard and follow the sidewalk to the northwest corner to enter the stadium. Signage will be on location to assist fans into the venue.
Seating at Lanny and Sharon Martin Stadium is general admission for the 2016 season. Single-game tickets are available for $7 adult, $5 youth/senior and $3 groups (15 or more). Season Tickets are still available for $39 adult, $20 youth and $99 family package (2 adults/3 youth).
