EVANSTON, Ill. –
Northwestern's men's and women's swimming and diving teams welcome seven schools to the Norris Aquatic Center this weekend for the annual TYR Invitational, which begins on Friday, Nov. 18 and runs through Sunday, Nov. 20.

Live results will be available via the Meet Mobile app and here.

Grand Canyon, Air Force, Saint Louis, Truman State, UIC, Michigan State and Northern Iowa will all compete in the event. The Air Force men's team will only compete in diving, while Northern Iowa will only compete in women's diving.

Prelims will start each day at 9 a.m. CT with finals following in the evening at 5 p.m. Sunday's finals will begin at 3 p.m. CT.

The men's and women's team are both coming off a quad-dual meet at Kentucky two weeks ago (Nov. 4-5) where both teams defeated Southern Illinois but fell to nationally-ranked Kentucky and Missouri.

Seniors Almog Olshtein and Jordan Wilimovsky competed at the College Challenge in Indianapolis, Ind. this past weekend, representing the Big Ten against Team USA swimming.  Wilimovsky finished second overall in the 1,000 free with a time of 8:46.34, less than a second off of his Northwestern record time of 8:45.66.

Senior Andrew Cramer won the 3-meter diving event his last time out at Kentucky and scored a 379.60, just short of the 381.60 school record that he previously set.

Freshman Valerie Gruest Slowing won the 1,000 free at the Kentucky quad-dual with a time of 9:55.46. Slowing's time is already the seventh fastest in school history in the event.

Sophomore Olivia Rosendahl won her 3-meter diving event with a 315.10 and registered a 244.85 in the platform event, an NCAA zone qualifying score.

Junior Mary Warren also won for the 'Cats two weeks ago when she finished first place in the 50 free with a time of 23.56.

Last year, competing against five of the same teams, the women's team took home first place at the invitational, and set two pool records. The men's team finished in third ahead of Saint Louis, UIC and Truman State.
