Rosendahl Named Diver and Co-Freshman of the Week

EVANSTON, Ill. — After breaking a Norris Aquatics Center pool record at the dual win over Iowa this weekend from the 1-meter springboard, Olivia Rosendahl (Los Angeles, Calif./Immaculate Heart) was named both the Big Ten Diver and Co-Freshman of the Week.
This is her first Diver of the Week honor and her fourth Freshman of the Week nod. She scored 317.63 points in a first-place performance in the 1-meter competition and also took home the top spot from the 3-meter springboard. She has finished in the first-place spot every time out from the 3-meter springboards this season.
Rosendahl previously won the Freshman of the Week award on November 4, November 15 and January 20. The last Wildcat to win the Diver of the Week award was Cosima Lenz on Nov. 15, 2011.
The Wildcats are back in action on Friday and Saturday as they host a triple dual versus Minnesota and Purdue. Friday's events will begin at 5 p.m. and Saturday's action will begin at noon.
