Northwestern Wildcats and Experience Mobile Apps Released

EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern announced today the release of its brand new Northwestern Wildcats mobile and Experience apps in time for Saturday's season-opening football game against Stanford at Ryan Field.
The mobile app, powered by Yinzcam, features live scoring, audio, video, rosters, schedules and news for all 19 of Northwestern's programs. Integrated Twitter, Instagram and YouTube feeds connect fans to their favorite teams while score and weather alerts provide instant updates from the #B1GCats.
Also integrated into the Northwestern Wildcats mobile app is NU's Experience App, which provides fans the ability to upgrade their seats IN-GAME at Ryan Field while also have opportunities to purchase exclusive behind-the-scenes access on gameday.
The Northwestern Wildcats mobile app is available immediately in the App Store for iOS platforms, and its release is imminent for Android devices. IMPORTANT NOTE: Fans who had the previous iOS edition of the Northwestern Athletics app from CBS Interactive will need to delete that version and download the brand new Northwestern Wildcats app by from Yinzcam. Android users will receive the new Northwestern Wildcats app as an update to their old version.
The Experience platform is accessible in the menu of the Northwestern Wildcats mobile app, or by going to nusports.com/Experience. Current Experiences on offer for Saturday's game against Stanford include:
Willie the Wildcat Photo
Get a pregame photo on the Ryan Field sidelines with Willie the Wildcat! Northwestern will provide digital copies of the photo to you via email, and you're also welcome to bring your own camera. Cost: $25 Limited to 5 per game.
Kids' High-Five Tunnel
Children 12-and-under gain the once-in-a-lifetime chance to high-five the 'Cats from the tunnel as the team makes final preparations for the game! Kids will meet at Gate V no later than 30 minutes prior to kickoff and be escorted to the tunnel. Each child is allowed to bring one adult on-field. Cost: $25 Limited to 25 children plus one adult.
Sideline Selfie with Coach Fitzgerald
Take a selfie with Northwestern Football Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald! Note that this opportunity is only available 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. Meet at Gate V 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. An autographed football is included, which Coach Fitz will personally sign for you during your photo op. Cost: $125 Limited to 5 per game.
'Cats VIP Package
Get the VIP treatment from the #B1GCats! This package includes a $100 Pete Miller's gift card, two pregame sideline passes, two prime sideline tickets to the 'Cats vs. Stanford, a parking pass (South Golf Lot), a selfie with Coach Fitzgerald and an autographed football. Cost: $300 Limited to 1 per game.
