EVANSTON, Ill. – After opening the 2015 season with two-straight shutouts for the first time in program history, Northwestern continues its hot start this weekend with a pair of matches against Boston University and Santa Clara.

Moynihan's 'Cats opened the season with a 2-0 win over North Dakota and polished off the weekend with another shutout victory against Valparaiso. Sophomore Maria Fayeulle paced Northwestern's attack, scoring a goal in each of the contests. Addie Steiner has a goal and an assist and Nandi Mehta has scored one goal. Chicago's Big Ten Team has outshot opponents 33-9 and 17-4 in shots on goal.

Friday's matchup – at Marquette – will be the third meeting between Northwestern and BU as the Terriers hold a 2-0 advantage in the overall series. The Terriers (0-1-1) enter the weekend after tying with La Salle, 0-0, on Monday night and dropping their season opener to Boston College, 2-1, last Friday.

The Wildcats return to action on Sunday when they face the Broncos in South Bend. Santa Clara heads to the Midwest after opening the year 1-1. This is the first meeting between the two teams.
