EVANSTON, Ill. -- On Tuesday, March 10, Northwestern's incredible student-athletes came together to showcase their talents off their respective playing fields, all for a great cause. The Wildcats Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C) raised over $3,500 for the Dance Marathon Beneficiary - the Starlight Children's Foundation.

The annual event, held at Northwestern's Cahn Auditorium featured 10 enthusiastic acts representing eight different programs. Joe Frazier from the football program and assistant coach Allison Guth of the women's basketball program served as hosts. The esteemed panel of judges featured a pair of prominent Chicago media members in Tom Waddle, former Chicago Bear and current co-host of "Waddle and Silvy" on ESPN 1000, and Megan Mawicke, weekend sports anchor for CBS 2 Chicago. Northwestern alum and current Buffalo Bill Corbin Bryant also served on the judges' panel.

Mike Trucco of the baseball team claimed first place with an impersonation of Chris Farley's famous Saturday Night Live characters Bill Swerski's Superfan and motivational speaker Matt Foley. Max Chapman and Austin Carr of the football program took home second with a music battle of recorder and keyboard, while Jake Stolley of the baseball squad finished third with a rendition of TLC's Waterfalls while playing a ukulele.
