EVANSTON, Ill. – Northwestern wrestling wraps up the 2015 non-conference slate with a trip to Edwardsville, Ill. for a dual meet with SIU-e on Sunday at 7 p.m.

The Wildcats boast several wrestlers who have started the 2015-16 season strong. Dominick Malone is 8-1 with five pins and seven wins by bonus points. He has scored 20 dual points for Northwestern and given up none. Jameson Oster is 5-2 with four bonus point wins, and Mitch Sliga has jumped out to a 6-2 start.

Sunday marks the final match for Northwestern to get ready for a Big Ten schedule that features eight duals against ranked teams, including three home meets against top-10 opponents. No. 8 Ohio State comes to Evanston on Friday, Dec. 18 at 7 p.m.

SIU-E and Ohio State mark the final duals before the 53rd annual Midlands Championships, which will be held at Welsh-Ryan Arena on Dec. 29 and 30. The largest Midlands field ever will compete this year with the finals televised live on Big Ten Network.
