Wildcats to Make Three BTN Appearances in 2013

EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern will make a conference-leading three Big Ten Network appearances during the 2013 field hockey season the network announced.
The Wildcats are set to appear in half of the regular season games televised by BTN. NU's first game to be broadcast will be its conference opener at home against Iowa on Sept. 27.
Northwestern's Oct. 18 matchup at Indiana will be shown, as will its regular-season finale at home against Ohio State on Nov. 1.
BTN is also slated to semifinal round of the Big Ten Tournament as well as the championship match Nov. 8 and 10, respectively.
The Wildcats return eight of 11 starters from its 2012 squad which posted a 16-4 overall record, including a 4-2 mark in Big Ten play. Northwestern opens its 2013 campaign Aug. 30 with a contest at Providence.
