EVANSTON, Ill.--No. 14 Northwestern (8-3-0, 1-1-0) ends its four game home stand by taking on SIU-Edwardsville (5-5-0, 1-0-0) Saturday, Oct. 12 at 7:30 p.m. CT at Lakeside Field.

The 'Cats are coming off a 1-0 win over Northern Illinois. Senior Chris Ritter scored the game winning goal against the Huskies on a header off a free kick from near midfield by Scott Lakin.

SIU-Edwardsville defeated Central Arkansas 2-1 on Oct. 5 to snap a three-game losing streak. Christian Volesky leads the Cougars with four goals and eight points. John Berner has recorded all of SIUE's goalkeeping minutes, recording a 5-5 record.
