MADISON, Wis. -- No. 15 Northwestern earned another road victory on Sunday afternoon with a complete, 6-1, victory over Wisconsin in Madison. In the midst of a five-match road swing, the 'Cats have won their second straight away from Evanston.

For just the sixth time this season, the Wildcats scored the doubles point. Paired together for the fourth consecutive match at No. 1, Nida Hamilton and Veronica Corning used a quick start to quell the Badgers' Hannah Berner and Alaina Trgovich. Hamilton and Corning jumped out to a 3-1 lead over Berner and Trgovich and never relinquished momentum on their way to a convincing 8-4 win, the first of the day for the 'Cats.

Moments later, Kate Turvy and Stacey Lee won their second match in a row together with a thorough 8-1 victory at No. 3 over Aleksandra Markovic and Angela Chupa. Turvy and Lee's win clinched the coveted doubles point for the 'Cats with one match remaining on court No. 2.

Brittany Wowchuk and Belinda Niu made it a clean sweep for NU in doubles with their exciting 8-4 finish. The Wildcat pair fended off a Badger comeback and forced deuce multiple times on their match point to down Nicky Stracar and Nova Patel for Northwestern's third win of the afternoon.

Into singles, the Wildcats continued their dominance. Ranked No. 21 in the nation, Turvy got things moving for Northwestern early in her match with Alaina Trgovich. After heading out to a 4-2 lead in the first, the junior 'Cat never lost another game, taking the match, 6-2, 6-0, giving NU it's second point of the day.

At No. 2, Belinda Niu kept the momentum high, polishing off Nicky Stracar in two quick sets, 6-2, 6-3. Niu now has nine wins on the season and is a perfect 2-0 at the No. 2 spot. Following behind, Nida Hamilton found the win column for the third consecutive match with a two-set win over Angela Chupa, 7-5, 6-3. Hamilton's win clinched the match for Northwestern.

After playing well in doubles, Stacey Lee fell in singles to Nova Patel after she was forced to retire in the second set, down 7-5, 2-3. Since the match had already been determined, Brittany Wowchuk and Hannah Berner settled things in a tiebreaker after splitting the first two sets. Wowchuk took the first set, 6-3, and fell in the second, 7-5. Berner kept things close through the breaker, but Wowchuk eventually took the set, 1-0 (10-8).

Veronica Corning finished things off for Northwestern with a lengthy three-set win over Sarah Loebel, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4. With the win, Corning moves to nine wins on the season, eight of which have come from the No. 4 spot.

Up next, the Wildcats continue the road trip with a stop in South Bend, Ind., at 3p.m. on Wednesday.
