FOXBORO, Mass. -- Top-ranked Northwestern spent Friday afternoon getting accustomed to the host venue for its Saturday matchup with No. 14 Ohio State, the New England Patriots' Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass. The Wildcats are part of the first-ever women's collegiate event to be held in the impressive stadium.
After taking in the enormity of the setting, Northwestern got down to business with its traditional pregame walk-through. The day included a visit from three-time Super Bowl-winning head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick. Belichick, a former collegiate lacrosse player at Wesleyan University and a lifetime fan of the sport, will watch his daughter Amanda coach on Ohio State's sideline tomorrow against the Wildcats.
