EVANSTON, Ill. -- Fans of the defending NCAA champion Northwestern women's lacrosse team can get the luck of the Irish on their side this St. Patrick's Day by attending NU's game against Massachusetts at noon on Saturday, March 17 at Lakeside Field! Early arriving fans will receive a FREE St. Patrick's Day-themed Northwestern Lacrosse shirt to show off their NU and Irish pride.
There is more St. Patrick's Day fun to be had once the game begins, as Northwestern Athletics will be asking fans to "Press Your Luck" with plenty of fun giveaways and drawings throughout the game.
Single-game tickets to Northwestern Lacrosse games may be purchased in advance by visiting the NUsports.com Online Ticket Office or by calling 1-888-GO-PURPLE. Season ticket packages also are still available and are the only way to secure a replica 2011 Northwestern Lacrosse NCAA Championship ring.
The Wildcats are 6-0 and ranked No. 1 in the IWLCA Women's Lacrosse Poll, winning their first six games by an average of 9.3 goals per game. NU will be seeking to win at home for the 17th straight time Saturday against Massachusetts, which also begins this week with a perfect 6-0 mark.
