WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Hurricane Sandy made its approach to coastal North Carolina early Saturday and delayed the second day of competition in the Landfall Tradition following the completion of 9-11 holes.

The 17 teams and five individuals teed off at 8 a.m. CT and made their way through driving rain and breezy conditions before rules officials halted play at 11:09 a.m.

Completion of the second round is tentatively scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

Northwestern is currently in 12th place and sophomore Nicole Zhang leads the NU group of five in a tie for 12th in the individual race. Complete results can be found at GolfStat.com.
