Wildcat Divers Compete at NCAA Zone C Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Northwestern's diving squad competed in the NCAA Zone C Diving Championships March 10-12 at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion in Columbus, Ohio, with a pair of Wildcats making the finals in the 10-meter platform event.
Freshman Cosima Lenz (Altadena, Calif./Polytechnic School) finished sixth overall in the platform while sophomore Felicitas Lenz (Altadena, Calif./Polytechnic School) claimed ninth. Cosima tallied a combined 10-dive score of 555.80; Felicitas turned in a 522.55.
Cosima's performance slotted her into the NCAA Championships qualification metric from the zone (listed below), though she ultimately did not earn one of the 10 available spots.
The Lenz sisters were joined at the Zone meet by NU junior Carlin Dacey (West Roxbury, Mass./Choate Rosemary Hall).
QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: NCAA Zone "C" has been allocated 10 NCAA Championships bids for women's divers. Below is the rank of criteria utilized to determine the qualifiers for the NCAA Championships; the criteria are utilized until 10 women are selected.
