EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern faces one final road test this weekend before returning to Lakeside Field for its home-opener, traveling south to meet Missouri State and Saint Louis on Saturday and Sunday, respectively. NU (3-3) will be looking to string together back-to-back victories for the second time in the young season.

Game time for NU's neutral site matchup with Missouri State is set for 1 p.m. Saturday while Sunday's date with host Saint Louis begins at 2 p.m. No live stats will be available for either game so be sure to visit NUsports.com for a complete recap and game statistics.

Series Notes
Northwestern has dominated the all-time series against both of its opponents this weekend, beginning with its 12-1 all-time mark against Missouri State. NU is also 10-1-1 against Saint Louis in a series that dates back to Northwestern's first varsity season of 1980.

'Cats Push Cavs to the Limit
Despite playing its sixth road game in 10 days, Northwestern had enough left in the tank against No. 3 Virginia to play the Cavaliers even for 69 out of 70 minutes. Virginia was able to eke out two goals in a one-minute span in the second half to hold on to the victory, but sophomore goalie Amanda Wirth was at the top of her game to blank UVA the rest of the way. Wirth finished with 13 saves -- two off her career high -- and held Virginia scoreless on 11 penalty corner opportunities.

Armstrong Earns League Player of the Week Honors
In her first three games of 2010, Chelsea Armstrong has picked up right where she left off in her rookie season. Against Northeastern, Armstrong spurred NU's comeback from a two-goal deficit by scoring the 'Cats' first two goals and assisting on the game-winning tally later in the match. Since that game, Armstrong has recorded two more two-goal games, including scoring twice in the first 12 minutes of NU's contest at William & Mary on Saturday. The Big Ten tabbed Armstrong as the league's Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, the fourth such honor of Armstrong's career. She is currently the conference leader in goals (six) and points (15).

Up Next
Northwestern will finally have the opportunity to play on its home turf at Lakeside Field -- site of the 2010 Big Ten Field Hockey Championship -- on Friday, Sept. 17, against Ball State. NU plays seven total home games before hosting the conference tournament, including Big Ten tilts against Indiana (Oct. 8), Penn State (Oct. 29) and Michigan State (Oct. 31).
