EVANSTON, Ill. -- Seniors Kassia Shishkoff (Raleigh, N.C./St. David's School) and Emily Wong (Nepean, Ontario/St. Joseph's) are set to cap their successful Wildcat careers this weekend, March 18-20, at the NCAA Championships hosted by Purdue.

Shishkoff opens Northwestern's 2010 NCAA meet Thursday as the 51st seed in the 500 freestyle while Wong begins the same day as the 31st overall seed in the 50 freestyle. The duo continues with the 200 freestyle on Friday before Shishkoff swims the 200 fly on Saturday alongside Wong's entry as the 50th seed in the 100 free.

Both Shishkoff and Wong are making their third appearances at the NCAA meet after going in both their freshman and sophomore seasons. The pair helped Northwestern to a 19th-place national finish in 2008, where Wong earned three All-America honors and Shishkoff picked up two.

Shishkoff made the championship final in the 200 free at this year's Big Ten Championships with a career-best 1:46.50, the third-fastest time in the event in school history. It was good for the 25th overall seed in the event at the NCAA meet. She was a consolation finalist in the 200 fly and the 500 free.

Wong had one championship and one consolation final appearance at this year's conference meet, making the top eight in the 50 free and the `B' heat of the 100 free.
