EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern senior Keri Robison (Decatur, Ill./Keystone National) earned Big Ten Player of the Week honors for her undefeated weekend of singles and doubles against conference foes Illinois and Indiana. Robison is the fourth Wildcat to win the weekly award this season.

Robison remained rock solid for Northwestern this week at No. 2 doubles and No. 5 singles, going 4-0 against Illinois and Indiana while helping the Wildcats post two wins against conference foes.

Robison and Maria Mosolova, together ranked 42nd nationally, improved to 13-3 as a tandem this year with 8-1 and 8-3 wins against the Illini and Hoosiers, respectively, as the Wildcats swept doubles play for the fourth time in four Big Ten matches.

Robison defeated Illinois' Amy Allin in straight sets before going into a match tiebreaker against Indiana's Lindsey Stuckey on Saturday. Stuckey took a 7-5 lead in the extra set before Robison rallied with four straight points to take control of the match. The win was her 20th singles victory of the year, tying her career high for singles wins in a season at Northwestern.

The top-ranked Wildcats are off this week, but return to action on March 27 with a non-conference showdown with Fresno State in San Diego. The 'Cats then make the quick turnaround to face Michigan in Ann Arbor on March 29.
