ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- Northwestern wrapped up competition at the USFA National Junior Olympics, with the weekend highlighted by a top-20 finish for freshman Camille Provencal (St. Paul, Minn./Central). She was one of six Wildcats to post top-50 finishes, lead by four from the foil squad.

Provencal lead the way for Northwestern, finishing 20th out of 136 competitors in the women's foil. Fellow freshman Devynn Patterson (Seattle, Wash./Roosevelt) also had an impressive weekend, placing 24th, while Ariel Stein (New York, N.Y./Riverdale Country School) notched a 32nd-place finish and Rebecca Grohman (South Orange, N.J./Columbia) finished 43rd.

Sophomore Sara Peck (North Haven, Conn./North Haven) lead the way for the epée team, notching a 46th-place finish among 137 competitors. Sophomore Nicole Tilley (Chandler, Ariz./Corona) was 63rd while freshman Elizabeth Casano (Alexandria, Va./Georgetown Visitation) placed 70th. Among the sabre team, sophomore Jill Mahen (Chester, N.J./Mendham) proved to be the top 'Cat, placing 46th among 105 fencers, with freshman Annelise Eeman (St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park) right behind at 54th.

With the final individual tournament behind them, the sixth-ranked Wildcats now turn their focus towards the Midwest Conference Championships in South Bend, Ind., Feb. 28 through March 1.
