On Drew Crawford...
"People are expecting a lot of him because he's a local product. I've seen it in practice different times. He had one good game early where he did the same thing, knocked down five threes. It's going to come. Eight games, that's not so bad. I don't think he's played poorly, I just think that we have some other guys out there too. It's great when a guy like (John) Shurna didn't make any shots tonight and Drew comes through. It's a team game. When one guy isn't doing too well, another can come through."
On if he though the layoff for final exams helped the team...
"I guess if you win you say, yeah, they recharged. If we had lost I would have said those darn exams. Now I'll play it that way that you rested your legs and all that kind of stuff. We're going to play four games in eight or nine days, not unlike how we played in the Chicago Invitational. We played four games in a week. I think I can trick them into thinking the same."
On what he said to Crawford during the game...
"I try to stay away. He was going pretty nice. Anything I said to him was about defense. I didn't say anything about the offense because he knew what he was doing out there today and didn't need any help. I just would have messed him up."
