EVANSTON, Ill. -- Freshman Felicitas Lenz (Altadena, Calif./Polytechnic School) has been named the Big Ten's Diver of the Week after her performance in Northwestern's two dual meet victories last weekend.

Felicitas helped Northwestern to a comeback 157-143 win over perennial power Wisconsin last week, dominating both springboards to provide the Wildcats crucial diving points in the 14-point victory. She scored 262.95 and 292.65 in the 1- and 3-meter events, respectively, to claim top honors in each.

The Wildcat newcomer then posted a pair of top-two finishes during Saturday's dual-meet victory over Illinois-Chicago, capturing first on the one-meter board (284.78) and second on the three-meter platform (291.00) against the Flames. On the weekend, Lenz recorded three NCAA qualifying marks.

Lenz is NU's first female Diver of the Week since January of 2006.
