CHICAGO, Ill. -- After winning their fourth-straight national championship, members of the Wildcat women's lacrosse team were honored by the Chicago Cubs during their game against the Cincinnati Reds on Aug. 19 at Wrigley Field. Head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller, assistant coach Scott Hiller, and Wildcat players Christy Finch (Hudson, Ohio/Hudson) and Hannah Nielsen (Adelaide, Australia/Brighton Secondary) represented the team.

Prior to the game, the group was able to take the field for some pictures before Amonte Hiller threw out the ceremonial first pitch to Cubs pitcher Jeff Samardzija. She was then joined by Finch and Nielsen in the broadcast booth where the trio sang "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Following the singing, they were able to meet Cubs broadcasters Len Kasper and Bob Brenly.

A handful of other Wildcats were on hand as well, including assistant coaches Lindsey Munday and Ann Elliott, former assistant coaches Acacia Walker and Alexis Venechanos, and former players Kristen Kjellman, Lindsay Finocchiaro and Ashley Gersuk.

The team was also honored in a pre-game ceremony by the Chicago White Sox before their Aug. 7 game against Detroit at U.S. Cellular Field. Amonte Hiller, Finch and Nielsen received an on-field recognition, marking the second trip by the `Cats to visit the Sox.
