EVANSTON, Ill. -
Northwestern's women's fencing team posted a perfect 6-0 record on the final day of competition Sunday at the NU Duals to complete the weekend with a 10-1 mark.
The Wildcats' season record improves to 29-4 with the 10 victories in 11 tries this weekend.
Northwestern opened the day with a commanding 26-1 victory over Cal State Fullerton before holding off North Carolina for a 16-11 win.
In the third round of the day, the Wildcats posted a 20-7 victory over UC San Diego.
NU earned another close 16-11 defeat of Stanford before finishing off the meet with dominating performances against Cal Tech (25-2) and Farleigh Dickinson (24-3).
The Wildcats return to action at the Notre Dame Duals in South Bend, Ind., next weekend.
