WILMINGTON, N.C. -- Northwestern finished the final round of the seventh-annual Landfall Tradition right where it started, shooting a 23-over 311 to place ninth with a three-day total of 78-over 942. Individually, Wake Forest's Dolores White shot a 2-under 70 in the final round to capture the individual championship, finishing with a 2-over 218 over the course of 54 holes. She edged out East Carolina's Abby Bools by two strokes and teammate Jean Chua by three en route to taking home the trophy.
Northwestern now prepares for its final tournament of the fall season as the Wildcats head to San Marcos, Texas, to compete in the Challange at Wolfdancer on Nov. 2 and 3. NU captured the 2007 Challenge team championship and looks to defend its title.
