The Broadcasts
Live video will be available for Friday's contest against Michigan State on NUsports.com and Sunday's match against Michigan will be televised live by the Big Ten Network. Gametracker will be available for both matches.

Scouting Michigan State
Michigan State is currently receiving votes in the latest NSCAA poll and comes into the weekend with a 12-3 record and a 4-2 mark in conference. The Spartans lead the Big Ten in almost every offensive category. They are led by Laura Heyboer's 40 points on an NCAA-leading 16 goals. Lauren Sinacola's 10 assists lead the conference. In goal, Lindsey Wrege has 57 saves and a 0.75 GAA.

Scouting Michigan
Michigan enters the weekend with a 4-7-4 overall record with a 1-3-1 Big Ten mark. The Wolverines' lone conference win came against Ohio State. Amanda Bowery leads the team in goals (6) and points (15). Clare Stachel paces Michigan with five assists. Madison Gates has started 14-of-15 games between the pipes and has a 1.30 GAA. Opponents are out scoring the Wolverines, 26-18.

Series Information
Michigan State leads the all-time series 9-4-2. Stephanie Erickson is 1-1 against the Spartans with a win last season by a 4-0 margin in East Lansing. Michigan leads the all-time series with NU 10-3-3. NU has two ties against the Wolverines in the Erickson Era, both of the scoreless double-overtime variety.

Last Time Out
Junior Kay Sampson scored on a header from 10 yards out off a cross from Sam Greene to give the Wildcats a 2-1 win over the Indiana Hoosiers Sunday at Lakeside Field. Senior Jenny Dunn scored her third goal of the season to give NU a 1-0 lead and Sampson broke a 1-1 tie at 86:26.

Senior Getting The Job Dunn
Senior Jenny Dunn's assist on Jeanette Lorme's game-winning goal against Illinois was her fifth of the season and the 15th of her career and puts her in a third-place tie with head coach Stephanie Erickson on NU's all-time list. Dunn's goal against Indiana last weekend was her third of the season and 16th of her career. She is the `Cats' active leader in goals and sits in a ninth-place tie on NU's all-time last. Dunn sits eighth on NU's all-time points list with 47.

Kay's Jewels Come At Right Time
Kay Sampson's game-winning goal in the 87th minute in NU's 2-1 win over Indiana last Sunday was the second of her career. Sampson's other goal was equally as dramatic -- a game-tying goal -- as time expired in regulation against Colgate in 2007. The goal tied the score at 1-1 and after two overtime periods, the game ended in a tie. Sampson used all of her 5-9 frame to get above the defense and head the ball into the net to give NU it's second Big Ten win last Sunday.

Distributing the Wealth
With Kay Sampson's goal against Indiana, nine different Wildcats have scored goals and 13 `Cats have notched points on 20 total goals. 11 Wildcats have at least one assist on the season out of 23 total helpers. Senior Jenny Dunn leads the way with 11 points (3g, 5a). Amanda Hoffman (5g, 0a) and Sam Greene (2g, 6a) are right behind her with 10 points each. Alicia Herczeg has seven (2g, 3a) while Laura Janowitsch (2g, 1a), Emily Langston (2g, 1a) each have five. Jeanette Lorme (1g, 2 a) has four points in her senior season.

Edwards Making Stops
Sophomore goalkeeper Carolyn Edwards has started all 14 games this season and sits with a 1.33 GAA. Through five Big Ten games, Edwards ranks near the top in most goalkeeper statistics in Big Ten games. She is fourth with a 0.80 GAA in conference games, fifth with 25 saves and is second to only Purdue's Jenny Bradfisch with a .862 save percentage.

Valuable Reserve
Junior Jessica Palo has appeared in all 14 games off the bench for the Wildcats and has been active on the offensive end. Palo has one goal and one assist on the year to go with five shots. Palo's goal against San Diego was her first since 2006 when she appeared in 15 games and started three. Jennifer Baumann and Kirstyn Atkinson have appeared in 13-of-14 games.
