MILFORD, Mass. -- Brine Corp announced Wednesday that former Northwestern women's lacrosse star and current assistant coach Lindsey Munday has joined the Brine Women's R&D Team. The Brine R&D team is a group of elite players who help drive Brine's research and development program as well as represent the brand at grassroots events across the country.

Munday played for the Nortwestern University Wildcats from 2003-2006, and she helped bring home two back-to-back NCAA Division I National Championship titles during her junior and senior years. Munday is the first on Northwestern's all-time list with 128 career assists, second with 268 career points and fourth with 140 goals. Upon graduation, Munday stayed on as the assistant coach, and she helped lead the team to its third-straight national championship this year. This year's team has also been nominated for an ESPY as the best women's collegiate team.

"Not only is she a remarkable athlete and coach, but she is a wonderful person. She is passionate about lacrosse and works hard at everything that she does. We are looking forward to having Lindsey work with our Women's Lacrosse Brand Manager, Jenny Riitano Levy, to help develop new products and to represent Brine at upcoming women's lacrosse events."

Other members of the Brine Women's Lacrosse R&D team include Beth Ames, Morgan Thalenberg, Lindsay Lewis and Melody Agnew.
