EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern's women's fencing head coach Laurie Schiller was selected as the Midwest Fencing Conference Coach of the Year. The award is the fourth for the 29th-year leader of the Wildcats.
Schiller, who reached his 900th career victory this season (919-396 overall), guided his sixth-ranked team to a 36-5 record, including a second-place finish in the Midwest Fencing Conference.
