EVANSTON, Ill. - Northwestern posted a 6-0 record at the UC San Diego Duals last weekend. Head coach Laurie Schiller improved his career record to 907-401 and the fifth-ranked Wildcats improved to 24-5 this season.

The Wildcats recorded wins over UC San Diego (20-7), Air Force (23-4), the California Institute of Technology (27-0), Stanford (20-7), North Carolina (18-9) and Cal State Fullerton (25-2). The 'Cats shut out Cal Tech, 27-0, and registered a dominating 25-2 win over Fullerton. The closest contest came against UNC, where NU topped the Tar Heels, 18-9.

In sabre, Mai Vu (New York, N.Y./Bronx Science) went 13-4 to lead the way. Vu is 42-14 this year.

Sisters Kayley and Christa French (Southlake, Texas/Carroll) went 11-4 and 12-1 in epée, respectively.

In foil, Sam Nemecek (Caledonia, Mich./Caledonia) continued her stellar season, posting a 17-1 record in Saturday's action. She is 65-5 so far this year and 168-23 in her career.
