Four Wildcats Receive Preseason All-America Honors

Baltimore, Md. - Inside Lacrosse has released its Women's Division I preseason All-Americans for 2007, featuring 48 of the top players in the country.
Defending champion Northwestern led the way by landing three on the first-team, including 2006 Tewaaraton Trophy winner Kristen Kjellman, while Georgetown and Duke have two players each represented on the first-team. Aly Josephs and Lindsay Finocchiaro also landed first-team honors for the Wildcats while Meredith Frank, last year's ALC Rookie of the Year, was named to the third-team.
Kjellman is one of five returning first-teamers from last season -- a list that also includes North Carolina's Jenn Cook, Johns Hopkins' Mary Key and Georgetown's Maggie Koch and Coco Stanwick.
Northwestern, Georgetown, Princeton and Maryland all have four players represented in total, while North Carolina, Duke, Cornell, Notre Dame, and Vanderbilt each have three.
