Wildcats Split Games with US Squads at Champions Challenge

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- Northwestern took to the field against the nation's best on Sunday, squaring off against the U.S. Elite and Developmental teams at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.
The Wildcats defeated the Developmental team 11-9 in the first game before falling in the second game to the Elite squad 12-7. NU led 6-4 early into the second half against the Elite, but couldn't hold on as the U.S. pulled away in the second half.
Aly Josephs scored a game-high four goals for the Wildcats, followed by two goals by Nielsen. Morgan Lathrop played the entire 60 minutes in goal, recording 12 saves
