  • In eight lifetime NCAA appearances, Northwestern has a 10-6 record and that includes 2-0 in title games.

  • Northwestern head coach Kelly Amonte Hiller is now 9-1 all time in the NCAA tournament.

  • The 11 combined goals scored equaled the second-lowest scoring championship game. New Hampshire defeated Maryland 6-5 in 1985 and the lowest mark of 10 goals was established in 1984, when Temple defeated Maryland 6-4.

  • Northwestern held Dartmouth scoreless for the final 24:49 of the game and outscored the Big Green 4-0 in that span.

  • Trailing 4-3, Northwestern scored goals 1:39 apart (at 37:54 and 39:33) to take the lead for good, 5-4. The Wildcats scored again 3:36 later (at 43:09) for a total of three goals in 5:15.

  • There were four ties (at 1, 2, 3, 4) and three lead changes in the game. Dartmouth held the lead three times (at 1-0; 3-2; 4-3) and never led by more than one goal. Northwestern held two leads (2-1 and 5-4 to end of game).

  • NU's Aly Josephs led all scorers with four goals and four points. Sarah Albrecht finished with three points on two goals and an assist.

  • No Dartmouth player recorded more than one point.

  • The 32 combined shots marked the second lowest total in an NCAA Championship round game (semifinal/final) and tied the fourth lowest total in any NCAA tournament game.

  • Dartmouth's 10 shots tied the second-lowest shot total by a single team in an NCAA Championship round game (semifinal/final) and the third lowest in any NCAA tournament game.

  • Dartmouth has a 10-11 overall record in 11 NCAA appearances. DC head coach Amy Patton is 10-10.

  • Northwestern scored a season-low two goals in the first half. The previous season low was four goals, which occurred April 23 vs. UConn and April 7 vs. Duke.

  • Northwestern improved to 2-1 when trailing at the half, while Dartmouth suffered its first loss of the season when holding a halftime lead. The Big Green entered the title game with a 12-0 mark when leading at the half.
