Senior midfielder Meghan Small was named an All-Big Ten honoree for the second time in her career.

Two Wildcats Garner All-Big Ten Honors

Ann Arbor, Mich. -- Senior Meghan Small (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem) and junior Amanda Care (Newtown, Pa./Pennsbury) were named second-team All-Big Ten honorees, it was announced today by the Big Ten.

Small, who was recently named to the NFHCA 2006 Senior All-Star team, has started all 17 games as a midfielder. She has recorded two assists while serving as a team general on the turf. The Bethlehem, Pa. native was also a Big Ten selection in 2004 when she and Candice Cooper garnered second-team honors. Last season, Small earned her second career nod as a NFHCA Division I All-West Region honoree. She is also a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.

Care has started all but two matches this season and has recorded four assists while spearheading the Wildcat defense. The Newtown, Pa. native was named team captain for the 2006 season.

The Wildcats' earned dual All-Big Ten honorees for the third time in the last four seasons.
