Evanston, Ill. -- Senior midfielder Meghan Small (Bethlehem, Pa./Moravian Academy) was named to the 2006 NFHCA Division I Senior All-Star Team, it was announced today. She will participate in the senior all-star game on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006 at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, N.C.

This season, the Bethlehem, Pa. native has started all 17 games for the 'Cats and has tallied a pair of assists.

In 2005, Small became a two-time NFHCA Division I All-West Region honoree. She recorded 20 points on eight goals and four assists. Small earned Academic All-Big Ten and Academic All-NFHCA honors that same year.

In addition to her NFHCA All-West Region honor, Small was a second-team All-Big Ten member in 2004. She was second on the team in both goals (4) and points (4). During the 2004 season, Small was named Big Ten Player of the Week for her play against James Madison University where she scored two goals in a 2-1 win.

In 2003, she was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad and finished second on the team with six goals and 14 points.

Small and the 'Çats wrap-up the regular season this Sunday as they travel to Ann Arbor to face the Wolverines. Game time is set for noon (CT).
