EVANSTON, Ill. -- Northwestern's men's and women's swimming teams will host Iowa at 5 p.m. Friday in the Wildcats' final combined dual meet of the season at the Norris Aquatics Center.
Northwestern will honor its seven seniors -- four women and three men -- before the meet begins.
Senior women Amy Mueller (Tampa, Fla./Hillsborough), Michelle Oeser (Eliot, Maine/Marshwood), Katie Paglini (Chicago, Ill./Latin School) and Sara Petric (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) are swimming their final dual meet of the season.
Senior men Brian Davis (Issaquah, Wash./Issaquah), Ben Dexter (Indianapolis, Ind./Roncalli) and Mike Oxman (Mequon, Wis./Homestead) also will be celebrated, however they have one final home meet to go Feb. 3 against No. 4 Michigan.
All four senior women have found places on Northwestern's all-time Top 10 list. Mueller ranks No. 10 in the 1000 free, 1650 free and 400 IM, while Oeser is fourth in the 50 free and sixth in the 100 free. Oeser also is a member of top-10 quartets in the 200 and 400 free and medley relays.
Paglini is No. 4 in NU history in the 200 back, No. 7 in the 200 IM and No. 8 in the 100 back. Petric swam with the No. 7-ranked 200 medley relay.
For the men, Davis holds school records in the 500, 1000 and 1650 freestyle events. Dexter is a two-time All-American, while Oxman was the men's diving alternate for the 2005 NCAA Championships and is a two-time Academic All-Big Ten selection.
