  • Northwestern fell to 1-1 on the season and 0-1 at home. Today's game vs. New Hampshire is just the Wildcats' second game against an NCAA Division I-AA school. NU defeated Princeton in 1986 in its only other game versus a I-AA opponent.

  • RB Tyrell Sutton's 61-yard run in the first quarter is the second-longest of his career. Sutton had a 62-yard dash against Wisconsin last season.

  • Sutton is now tied for 10th on Northwestern's career rushing touchdown list with 17. He missed his seventh career 100-yard game (in 14 total games played) by one yard. He has 20 career TD's (17 rushing, 3 receiving).

  • RB Terrell Jordan's seven-yard TD run in the first quarter was his second score of the season.

  • SB Erryn Cobb blocked a punt for the second consecutive week. Last week's block resulted in a TD. Today, the Wildcats recovered the blocked punt on the New Hampshire 30-yard line, but NU was unable to score.

  • QB Mike Kafka completed 19 of his 32 passes to seven different receivers.

  • Kafka's completion and reception totals as well as his 173 passing yards and 23-yard strike to Jordan are career highs.

  • WR Sam Cheatham matched his single game high of three receptions.

  • WR Shaun Herbert ran his string of games with at least one reception to 26 contests. Herbert and Sutton led the Wildcats with four catches each.

  • Herbert moved into 11th place on NU's career pass receiving yardage list. He now has 1,500 career yards.

  • LB Nick Roach totaled 10 tackles today, marking the second time he has paced Northwestern in stops this season. Roach had eight tackles in the win over Miami (Ohio).

  • DT John Gill recorded his first career sack.

  • DE Kevin Mims recorded eight tackles, seven of which were solo hits, a career high.

  • Northwestern committed no penalties today.
